Lace in Windby lytaComment by Pidd: I love the colors and the framing. Don't like the motion blurr. This would be better sharply focused I think. |

Lace in Windby lytaComment by ximending: The framing shape doesn't seem to have any relationship with the very interesting flower shapes you've taken, therefore it seems extraneous to me. |

Lace in Windby lytaComment by dwolff: Wondering how you got your frame. Looks kind of like a vignette filter. I do like how some of the plants seem to be blowing in the wind. |

Wood you get to the point.by lytaComment by gaurawa: hey Lita,
I like this picture, the angle that you chose and the texture and clarity. But this needs a little more DOF IMO, also give a little more space for the lines to merge a little ( the crop it too tight ). I don't know if F8 is the min. aperture your camera supports, but this might look better with a lesser aperture and if you showed the expanse more.
Also try to focus on nearly 1/3rd distance away from you keeping a low aperture, that might help increase your overall depth of field.
You can also try to convert this to b/w using channel mixer and get a more vibrant picture. the textures might get more prominent with a b/w conversion.
cheers,

Hope springs eternalby lytaComment by gaurawa: Its not very clear from the photo what you were trying to show and I need to read the title to understand anything about it ( and relate how it meets the challenge ).
The glare on the subject is distracting. IMO the presentation is neither attractive nor intriguing...
I know I have criticized you a lot but this is my most honest opinion...
At my screen it looks a lot brighter, you might like to play with curves a little and saturate the green a bit to add contrast. |
