I can clearly see the black background around this photo, not saying this photo is bad. In fact I love this one, but you need to make sure that your added in blackness matches the the blackness of the photos bacground. try cloning the the bacground or somehitng to fill in the rest of the needed space and you'll have a winner.

If you really have to enlarge your canvas by adding a huge border, you should at least calibrate your monitor before you do so. There is a visible difference between the original frame (which is too bright) and the pure black border which you added. 3.
