If the light, tone and texture of the apple had matched the vibrance seen in that of the machine, this would be a strong ribbon contender. You focused on the rearward gears instead of the apple. And the light was too near the very reflective surface of the subject, which was blownout somewhat. Your idea was great and unique in this 400+ photo challenge.
