A little less than crips in the focus.
The colors work great but allot of the detail is lost in the focus of the subject and the sihlouet.

Great bird picture, but the highlights in the background are all blown out. I always find these types of shots difficult to pull off. They are always metering nightmares.

oh, what a moment you've captured here. aren't these birds beautiful? i hope your image is not getting overlooked in this huge challenge, and that you are getting good feedback. as much as i like what you've entered, i can't help but feel it is somewhat unfinished, that there are a few things left to do in post-processing that could really take this image up a notch. but, hey, that's just my opinion. you have a nice image, and that's what matters. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come!
