Béinchen (1684) & Rout Bréck (1966)by glodaComment by vadvirag: I would like this one with full colours. The natural colours of the stone bridge and nature would be opposing enough with the unnatural reds of the new bridge. Composition is great and the subject is loveable, too. I am very curious about the full-coloured version, because personally I think making pastel colours for the yet desaturated elements would have made your shot better. This way it's a bit agressive for me. If it was the purpose, it works well, but be careful with selective desaturation. I love this technique, too, anyway. :-) |

Béinchen (1684) & Rout Bréck (1966)by glodaComment by Ivo: This is really a mgnificent capture and the colorizing of the bridge was a wise decision. I feel that Sepia may have been better that B&W but otherwise....a great entry. |

Béinchen (1684) & Rout Bréck (1966)by glodaComment by digitalknight: this is too obvious. I feel like you have no faith in your audience, so you underline the point in red. Instead of going all the way to sepia in the rest of the image, maybe just subtley scale back on the saturation to make the bridge "pop", but without beating me over the head with it. Subtle is the key word for effect work. |
