This is wonderful, the soft focus, the grain, and the color all work to make this image great. It has a very olden days feel to it, great work. Suggestions I can offer? Maybe even up the vignette, get rid of the green(?) things in the middle foreground and the pink thing as well. They distract from the model. Maybe kick the brightness up just a bit to make it stand out more as well. Overall, this is a wonderful shot and something to be proud of.

If you are going for a cd cover sort of look, I think the border works well.

My two monitors here are both pretty well calibrated, and I can make out plenty of detail in the shadows around the eyes. Personally I wouldn't mess with them as any attempt to do so is likely to make the shot look processed, but that may just be a critique of my photoshop skills...

Anyway, it's a great spontaneous capture.

Honestly, this is a lot better than any of the alternate edits posted in the thread.

i'd crop it sqaure to lose the people in the back to begin with. i'll have a little play, if you don't mind, and come back to you.

Heck, Keiran, you uploaded a photo. Nice one too. Such sweet ladies out there in Taiwan... whatever you used on this shot lens-wise etc turned out fine.
