Not Red Enoughby theysayjumpComment by aplomb76: I think this would have worked better if the bear being left out was in focus and the other six were a little out of focus. The blur on the foreground bear is a little extreme. Overall I like the idea a lot. |

Not Red Enoughby theysayjumpComment by Shadowrain: LOL. Next time brush the crumbs and hairs of the gummies before you shoot. This is an amusing entry. Not sure if I liek the OOF bear, though. (5) |

Not Red Enoughby theysayjumpComment by Dr.Confuser: Difficult subject because of the texture and reflectivity of the (?) Gummy Bears. I would have scored it higher if it were all in sharp focus and possibly without the dust spects mid frame. |

Not Red Enoughby theysayjumpComment by HBunch: I don't think I like your choice of DOF here. The front guy is way too out of focus for my personal taste. The white specks all over the table around the group are distracting and so are the little light glares on the red gummies. I like the idea, it's cute, but I think that it needs a little tidy-ing up. ~Heather~ |

Not Red Enoughby theysayjumpComment by BikeRacer: cute. and a little sad too. don't really like the crud near the focused gummies. would prob clone/heal out if not for the basic rules. |

There Can Be Only Oneby theysayjumpComment by theysayjump: ok, i didnt want to put the idea in the title cos i wanted to make people think about it rather than giving it away. its based on the game Paper Scissors Stone (rock paper scissors for the americans). it was a last minute pic, and i submitted it 2 minutes before the deadline, so i didnt have too much time for composition, angles, lighting etc. the theme was authority and whether this showed the lack of authority or not, it still (to me) shows authority of some kind. they each have authority over the other in the sense that they can each win. hope this clears things up a bit. thanks for the comments!

There Can Be Only Oneby theysayjumpComment by jbirkman: I didn't get it at first. For some reason I saw the rock as a burn mark on the paper. I like the clever relationship to the challenge. I guess some shadow would help give depth to the rock and give the whole thing more impact. |
