Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by stephan: Interesting angle! Unfortunately the white spot distracts too much. Use indirect light to avoid this. The DOF is too small for my taste. The strings behind this "thing" in the middle are in focus. But what is there? Nothing interesting. If you subject of interest was the instrument then you should have brought more if not all into focus. - stephan |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by Swashbuckler: Dark image, very steep angle of attack, sharp light reflection (very distracting), disappearing strings (not good) and something unidentifiable in the right lower corner. 6 Swash |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by karmat: Wow, I feel like i'm being carried infinitely far away. Good use of lines. I alos like the narrow depth of field. karmat |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by crisa58: great idea. the limited depth of field in the foreground was disconcerting and the lighting could better bring out the color and texture of the violin. keep trying! |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by sohr: This is way too dark to make out much of anything. Unfortunately the most prominent feature in the image is the bit of glare below the fret... --3-- sohr |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by FranziskaLang: nice angle, but to be honest, this photo doesn't specifically speak 'old' to me. maybe if the woodgrain was more visible. technically, your focus (if you decide to use a shallow depth of field) should be further in the foreground, probably where the wood piece is that pushes the strings up (not sure what the real name for that is). you should also try and use different lighting so that you don't have that big white hotspot in the foreground. maybe indirect lighting? -- gr8photos (2) |

Baglama's True Dreamby conqComment by jmsetzler: the composition here is excellent... I like the way the light plays on the strings of this instrument... my personal taste would like to see a little more focus in the foreground and then fading to soft focus in the background... good work :) - jmsetzler |
