Creative subject choice! I would love to see the facing of some of these fiddles rather than just the sideviews, highlighting the range of tones in the woodgrain on their surfaces.

it looks like you used on camera flash, I don't think ansel used that technique. However, I do think you may be able to get a reall intersting shot with these violins. Set them up in natural more dramatic light and get some differnt angles.
