Good focus on the heart, lovely lights on the jewels. I'd love to see this with a slightly lighter b/g, really like the ?petal background but on my monitor they look a little dark.

The textures and values contrast strongly to make the vulture stand out. I love the gently fading color and soft texture of the water as a background. Nicely framed. I wonder whether a little Unsharp Mask might strengthen the texture contrast between the subject and background. I also wonder whether the presentation might work in B&W. Either way, it's a striking shot.
