I am sure I'm not the first person to mention that this is an absolutely discusting looking apple. I have to wonder if you did this on purpose, or if there were no better looking apples on your tree?? However, the clarity and the focus on the apple are good, and the lighting is ok. I wouldn't want to see the glare on the apple much brighter, but it seems fine how it is currently. No one ever said the fruit had to be fresh! Overall good idea, and definatly original. In a challenge like this site's, creativity and/or originality play a major role. An apple would be a very common subject. It would have to be an incredible shot. You chose a very sad and ugly subject.
