This is actually an interesting photo from a comositional aspect... I just don't find the subject appealing. When I think of fruit and veggie photos, I hope to view something that makes me hungry :) - jmsetzler

Comment by floyd:
Lovely old tree. The swing looks comparatively new, though. Light wasnt especially good in this spot. Perhaps some fill-in light would have helped. I like your framing, though. 7 - floyd

I like this one very much out of the many "swing-pictures"... Great contrast with the red of the swing and the green grass.... D.:o)

i wonder if cropping the buildings out at the top would give you a more abandoned
feeling. ..but then you would lose the beautiful branch formation of the tree.

I think it would have been better if the tree wasnt directly in the center. 5.

Swing needs to be more focued in this picture.
It would be better If the house were't appeared.
Try different angle

Comment by HBunch:
That is an interesting tree. I've never seen one grow that way before. I found that I rated the tree swings a bit higher than the playground swings. I'm not really sure why, maybe because they were more personal to the kids, or maybe because they were more unique. The lighting and angle are great for this photo. I like how the house is way in the background and there is a little path leading to the swing. Great shot and good luck in the challenge.

Swings seem to be THE childhood memory of choice. It's an interesting looking tree. The shade makes the pic seem dark, esp. with the background being much better lighting. 7 Swash
