This is so close to being brilliant - for me, I would have preferred the subject a little higher in the frame. I know that means more (darker) sea but it is too close to the bottom of the frame.

I'm going to disapoint those expecting a fancy editing process, it was a reasonably bright day, I was tracking this swan as it drifted below me from a high bank, I adjusted the shutter speed and aperture to avoid washing out on the feathers and obtained an almost black background from that alone, adjusted the contrast slightly and cropped.
