Lots of possibilites here, but in this case, the composition is a little flat and the image is a little overexposed. The stuff in the background in the lower half really needs to go away.

The light is a little strong and I would have removed, before shooting or after by cropping, the leaf with the hole in it. I haven't tried this yet, but I am seriously considering getting a large sheet to hang between the sun and the flower in order to diffuse the light as they are doing with the tabletop photos. You have lost the texure of the petals and the center of the flower to direct lighting. I love the purples in the background. A 7.
