Where Valor Proudly Sleepsby MiekaComment by kosmikkreeper: Of the cimetary shots, it's the best executed one. it really does show perspective. The colors are sharp as well as the DOF and focus. The only thing that I find distracting is the tree on the right as it draws my attention away from the stones. 8 |

Where Valor Proudly Sleepsby MiekaComment by 3boyzMom: I really love this concept and the execution is pretty exceptional. Upon taking a closer look, I think it might have been better without the tree hanging down at the top...I may have cropped a bit tighter on top. I also think I would have tried for a time when the shadow was on the other side of the tree It's still one of my favorite shots for this challenge. |

Where Valor Proudly Sleepsby MiekaComment by Gordon: wow - a huge opportunity. Personally I'd love to see this with nothing other than the green grass and grave stones - it would really be an arresting pattern/ texture shot them. I feel that the trees/ sky/ monument are really distracitions from the main message and main impact of this wonderful scene. The fact that it represents so many deaths also has a huge impact. If you can, I'd love to see this with the patterns really worked on |

The Window of Truthby MiekaComment by lisae: Interesting idea. I like the beams of light, but I'm not sure about the ripples. The composition is great, I love all the lines in this image. |

The Window of Truthby MiekaComment by smellyfish1002: This is one of my favorites this week. I'm glad to see you took advantage of the relaxed editing rules this week. Your manipulation is obvious, but it is not 'cheesy' and it works very well. I like the strong diagonals in the frame and the columns at the lower right are great. Is this in DC? As long as you were 'Photoshopping' I would have cloned out the dark gray shadow at the top center of the frame. I like this a lot and give it a 10!
