It seems candid as if she doesn't know and she looks bored. Her blue eyes pick up in the background (and nails) but focus is a little soft.

Thank you so much for the comments! It really helps me when I get constructive criticism, and I try to improve in that area. As part of the creative process you have to "love" your photo, or why would you submit it for a challenge? I think after processing a photo it is easy to lose perspective and become blind to the flaws in the image. Great comments help you keep it "real" and also help elevate your future images. Thank you to all members that take the time to comment on the photos! You are why we come to DPC and participate!

I saw that you weren't sure why this scored what it did. I gave it a 6, but I think a couple of things may have hurt you with the voters: the lighting, which appears to be bright midday sun, and the out of focus top branch of the 'frame'. I'd prefer to see that sharper. Also, and I didn't notice it until now, the second lemur's rump may have distracted some voters.
