Just beyond the Bridgeby okiesisiComment by mocabela: This looks as if it may be a tad oversharpened, or else oddly resized. The bridge seems just a little overexposed - it's kind of hard to look at because it feels bright - but the setting is quite lovely, and the blues of the sky reflecting in the background look beautiful. I would like to see the scene from a few steps back, with more of the bridge, but otherwise this is a good effort. |

Road to nowhere?by okiesisiComment by okiesisi: Originally posted by Puppies: conveys a sense of oppression, like beyond is death. Interesting, certainly. |
I just wanted to say that this post just tickled me..we live on an army base, and this sign is just on the gate, and beyond is the "bad" part of town off-base. so basically, beyond is death, hehe! also, those arent powerlines in the background, its actually razorwire that tops the fence the sign is on. Thanks for all the great comments!

Road to nowhere?by okiesisiComment by ergates: There must have been something more exciting to do with this? The graininess could have been interesting, but the composition isn't. |

Road to nowhere?by okiesisiComment by erusan: like a tombstone, very moody. the graininess looks like a high ISO shot, but there is a lot of post going on as well I think. A little bit less would have been satisfying as well. |
