Light on the Lighthouse at Cape Trafalgarby AranchaComment by Node: Returning for comment.
A stunning photo and one of the better light house photos that I have seen so great capture and well done in being able to place yourself wll for the photo. I would have liked to see the light house stand out a little more like the waves on the right, maybe it could have been dodged a little to brighten it. I hope this photo does well for you. |

Light on the Lighthouse at Cape Trafalgarby AranchaComment by ubique: This is a nice seascape shot. but it is a little let down by the over-processed edges on the rocks (centre right) and by the inclination of the lighthouse. I think a lighthouse has to be meticulously vertical to be taken seriously. 6 |

Light on the Lighthouse at Cape Trafalgarby AranchaComment by charliebaker: Emotive photo. The absence of light shining from the lighthouse takes away from the potential power of the shot. Sometimes though there is only the photo that is before us rather than the photo we had hoped would be before us. Good luck. |

Light on the Lighthouse at Cape Trafalgarby AranchaComment by Artifacts: Nice try, good image. Looks like you did something that I do, process the sky separate from the rest of the image as a way to bring out detail. That part worked but, like me, you need to work on the transition boundary. Something I do is re-select the sky then clone out the boundary transition, like is most apparent on the right side of the image along the horizon line. Sometimes I might need to expand or contract the selection by a pixel or two to setup for cloning. If the sky is in a separate layer then you will have to flatten the affected layers first. |
