The Roadby puzzledComment by Skip: nice composition. just be sure to explore different perspectives when you come across a find like this (ie, try shooting from ground level, holding the camera high over your head, etc.). keep it up! |

The Roadby puzzledComment by carlos: I see an slight blue cast over the image making it feel "cold", don't know if its because of the time the pic was taken, I feel early in the morning. Crop the lower part off, at the top of the pole level, and you gain a deal of deepness as you loose the widening effect on the road and the right hand side of the road not having the fence. |

The Roadby puzzledComment by Pug-H: Yes, as for the signpost at the left, I'd either crop it out altogether, or make sure the photo includes the whole end of the fence (if the end of the fence is just there). |

beach flowersby puzzledComment by carlos: I agree with Jaxter, "croping" the plant fighting over the flower should improve the pic, making it look absolutely different. A shallower DOF could have helped sepate the flower from the background, specially the green long leaves behind. put the flower a little to the left too, so it isn't dead centered.

The Roadby puzzledComment by jaxter: Love this shot! Road/path shots are so emotive. The detail in the grass is awesome. I would have included part of what was above the horizon in the shot, but that may not have been the best option at this site. One would have to see the lay of the land to know. Beautifully done. |

beach flowersby puzzledComment by jaxter: Very nice photo! I think some may comment that the wash from the sun on the sand is too bright, but I dissagree. If you had made it darker you would have lost detail in the flower. Two things I would have done different myself. First I would have stomped that wheat-like plant flat so it is out of the photo. It draws attention away from the flower in the center. The second thing I'd have done is to have gotten closer. Filling the frame would also have helped draw focus where it was wanted. Overall this really is a lovely shot. |

The Roadby puzzledComment by shadow: i wouldnt include that little signboard on the left bottom corner of the photo. Would probably crop it off. Like the blue tarmac tho. |
