Touch Me Not!!by doctabrezComment by macrothing: 2 - Looks like good potential. Sharper focus, bigger (640 width), more control of the reds, a slight variation in angle/composition (allowing in more green and the petal 'chops' at more strategic places), make this better in my opinion. Also looks like you may have some pixelation/resizing/jpeg issues, not sure. Like to see the detail in the petal ruffles/crimping etc, which has not been captured, in my opinion. |

My Bro Shahrukh's Weddingby doctabrezComment by Skip: ok, from the title, i can get the idea of something going on, but from the image, not really. the clothing almost blends into the background. this type of moment really does make for some great photography, but not like this. you really need faces to get the emotion of the moment across. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

My Bro Shahrukh's Weddingby doctabrezComment by espy2: I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
This is a bit small and too busy to really gain anything from it as a candid. I see no faces, no emotion, no real story, and just a snapshot of someone signing a book. I'm afraid this has little expectations as a candid in how I see it. In a candid I prefer to see something unexpected, out of the ordinary, a capture unawares of a situation or a subject/s. Something that draws the eye to a matter of interest. I don't find that here. It's a 2 for me. |

My Bro Shahrukh's Weddingby doctabrezComment by balancedfox: Lovely rich colours. I think that the small size of this picture will mean that it will score lower than it should. The page makes a good central interest area - everybody in the pic is looking at it. |
