My monitor needed a little calibration when I first saw this, so I know how you did it (I could see the fabric) but my screen is working properly now and I can see the full effect. Very clever and I hope it does well :-)

I'm trying to think of how you did this, and I can't really be sure, thought I'd guess that the glass pebbles are on some kind of flat surface. I don't really know what the illusion is, but it looks weird and I like it, so I'm giving it a 7 anyway. I think that this image may have benefited from a wider angle lens, to get more perspective on the stones (front larger, back smaller), which would make the appearance of motion stronger.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm not sure whether I like this pic or not. It looked better before resizing and uploading. I was glad to just get up, get out and take a photo at the time.
