Logging Outby lshlesComment by Jutilda: This is very clear and well focused. I like the juxtaposition of the angled posts with the movement of the duck. Great reflective quality. |

New Orleans: In Memoriamby lshlesComment by Tammer: I like the contrast between the little girl and her dollie, but for me, the background being so similar in color to the her hair, it tones down the overall contrast. Very sweet photo - one to be cherished. |

New Orleans: In Memoriamby lshlesComment by sacredspirit: Ok listen, I am almost perfectly sure you did not intend this, but this seems very vulger, and racist. Now seriously, I know you didn't intend it that way, but you have a baby girl (white), holding a black baby (doll), which leaves the doll in subjection, and unless we all live under a rock we seen the News, and it was prodominantly blacks that got the stranded.
So here in the photo you have a white girl holding in subjection a black baby, that in circumstance appears deceased. You have to be very careful in relating photos to something that carries such deep wounds. It may very well be interpreted unconsiously, or subliminally, and you have to consider that in such a deep circumstance. I am very sorry for having to bring that up, but i hope it helps. And I in noway think you intended it that way. |
