Bamburgh Castle - At peace since the 15th.Centuryby barbaraanneComment by gprinsloo: Obsolete, broken, discarded, outgrown or forgotten does not come to mind. I need to be convinced on this one. Otherwise a bit light. A nice landscape. Pity about the person in the foreground, rather distracting. A cropping of just the knoll and castle would have been nice as well. |

Intriguingby barbaraanneComment by ergo: It's a nice line, but boy do I wish for more contrast here. A crop off the top quarter of the frame would also have yielded a more effective image, imho. 6 |

Bamburgh Castle - At peace since the 15th.Centuryby barbaraanneComment by _Io_: overuse of sharpen has caused halo effect - especially noticable on the left edges that were in shadow. Good colour & ok composition. Shifting the camera slightly to the left would have given you more negative space on the left, implying fading out, and wouldn't have caused the person to stand out so much. |
