I scored this a ten. Only one I see. Here is my reason why: First, I am not an American. Despise quite a bit about what their government does. My initial reaction to such things is 1. Political statements are so very boring. Even if it is Chilean rebelling against Pinochet in those days. I was at a friends house who received a phone call that his past lover in Chile was bayoneted in the stomach a few hours earlier and had died. He was distraught, it was a long night, but out of that night came a very interesting conversation.

The family had worked on the family, and had not spent a dime on its comforts. The wall in this image is of, in my mind, the cheap fake wood panel you put up, no less then other families, not because you cannot buy better, but because that money can be better used for the family. For all this family has done, they have a flag, in a triangle on a wall. Courtesy of an ideal. My children will never suffer this. Although they maybe the cause.

This is cool looking. Shame about the top left hand corner, but I can see your dilemma if you did want to crop it out you would lose some of the cool looking water. Still deserves a 10. Good luck.

This is very bizarre and I love it. I would prefer not to see the line in the upper left corner, and to have a closer crop of the apple. It looks like a little universe.

No doubt this photo probably has personal meaning to you, but I don't consider it a good photo. The colors are too dark. The stars should stick out against a blue background. The hook is off center. Also, it's not your fault but the stars should line up better. I think you could make it better by changing the location of the flag to a lighter background and putting some photos of the loved one in the background. I gave it a 5.

you left a comment on my challenge entry a little while ago, so I thought I would return the favor on this picture!!!!!
Anyway, I like this picture a lot.
The flower seems too over exposed and the dirt around the flower looks like it has been freshly dug, I think that if the dirt was uniform it would have slightly more impact.
The compocition is great though.
Maybe you could try reshooting this, but just using some colored poster board as your background.
Actually, that sounds like quite a good idea, I think I may try it.
