The toothbrush and that blurry blue line down the right side are kind of distracting...maybe cropping so it's just the frame of the mirror or something? (eh, well, I tried doing it myself but the balance felt a little off) I like how it's slightly crooked, though, and the steamy glass is definitely very effective. Very nice shot, I love the expression.

I was about to comment on the story telling aspect of this photo, then I saw gsal's comment....... see - that photo really DOES speak to us!
I like its firm grip on reality, it is honest and gritty.
Even the rather dull lighting fits the situtation. Good one!

I want to like this photo more than I am, and I'm not quite sure why. I like the mood, tone, and anonymity of the picture, but I'm not crazy about the pose. The off kilter works, but the foot doesn't quite work for me.

Hmm, I think it's because the pose isn't a terrbily strong pose. I feel like he needs to be in more of a crouching position, ready to spring and run if need be.

Just my humble two cents.

Good work!

This is a storytelling image. I like it very much. But could you share with us the story behind it, the location and few facts about the bacground to this compositon?

YIKES!! Been taking lessons from Joey?

The dark brooding light really works. That mask - I'm shaking with fear.

I should have known. When you use a rebel and the infamous 50mm 1.8 you always get superior imagery.

Brilliant.
