Caltrop - i gave a 4. I am personally not a fan of photographs of sculptures. I think you understand my hesitation, because of what you have stated in your comment.
The sky is Wonderful. Perfect in every way - i would have liked to have seen more of it - as in the photo taken in rule of thumb style - the heads in the left third and mostly sky in the other two, to give the indication that the giraffes are on the move. Right now the crop is too tight for my likelings which is why it feel into the "picture of a scuplture" rather that "Caltrops picture of metal giraffes on the run" or some such interpretation of the sculpture for me.
I have a feeling you could have upped the saturation on the red & yellow, to give the giraffes a bit more depth. With the brilliant blue
sky, i would have liked to have seen brilliantly coloured giraffes to match.
It would be interesting to see this shot taken at different times of day, to see how the suns relative position efected the apperance of the trio. Might want to check that out?

Nice. Looks old. The high contrast objects around the book is a bit distracting, but still nice.

Beautiful shot. I think stepping back and creating some context would have added a lot to the pic.

Yes. This book is outdated but the chemistry within may still hold true.

The title makes this something different than what I originally got from it. I'm forced to interpret what I see a little differently.

rotate this so the shadows are at a 60 degree angle to the bottom of the frame and you've got a killer shot - imho love the color and the idea, the angles would give it a ton more energy

The big blurry shell in the upper left distracts from the terrific detail in the center of the shot.
