Deep in thought...by NowaytotellComment by rscorp: The desaturated color doesn't bother me at all, that's nice. The background does. I just think it could have been more flattering to the overall feel of the shot. |

Deep in thought...by NowaytotellComment by Tygerr: Lighting seems a bit harsh, especially for a nude with flowers. The processing also seems to have drained the image of colour, which is a shame, given that her hair seems like it would add nice red splash of colour to the photo. |

A Hard Hitby NowaytotellComment by shalrath: This is great! I too think the background is a little busy, but changing that would mean removing the guys in the box on the second flaw, who really add another element to this shot. Then again, it would also have been nice to see more of the batter's expression, I wonder what the original looks like at full size? |

I hate fixing fence.....by NowaytotellComment by shalrath: I think this is a good shot in its own right. However, to go with the title I'd have probably moved a little closer in to a broken portion of the fence to emphasise its need for TLC. |

Day "branching" into nightby NowaytotellComment by shalrath: I really like the tree here, everything is very well exposed. It would be really great to see the roof and pole the the left removed some how (either a big cloning job or waiting until the sunset occurs at a slightly different angle). However, I really like this one. |

Deep in thought...by NowaytotellComment by rossbilly: I'm afraid the harsh lighting (and some distracting BG elements) hurt the scores on this one. Softer lighting (less direct), and turning the subject 45 degrees would have produced more flattering results. Her eyes toward the camera would give this emotionally stronger.
That said, I also think that you can easily improve on this as your subject has her own unique beauty that should be explored. Keep going! :) |
