The closer crop really helps make the main subject take center stage. Good job in removing those distracting glare spots off the sunglasses. In the after image you would never know that they were there. I also like that you added a soft 'diffuser' type look to the final image. It softens the overall image and in my opinion complements the subject.

I love what sunglasses do to a person. This might be fun in a high contrast BW too. ;~)

I think I really like the crop on this as well, and I agree with yankothat darker glasses with just a hint of eyes behind them would make her even more mysterious. Want me to add you to the list for the month? C'mon...You know you wanna!

I like the crop choice, looks nice between the joints rather than on them. I appreciate the removal of the bright reflections in the glasses. When I see a portrait softened, I like to see a little of the sharpness of the eyes and nose retained though. Again, it comes down to personal taste ;) This is a nice edit of the image presented. It did it justice :)

I like it. Since she's not making eye contact I wonder if darkening the glasses might enhance the glamour/fashion like feel.

I think this shot will work just fine as a corporate photo. It's fresh, not stuffy, and the pose is quite natural. Are you submitting the BW or color - just curious. :)

BTW - Fun story. I can just imagine the scene as this photo session took place. :D

Au contraire, you photograph very nicely, and at least one of your kids photographs expertly. Well done. Should easily last you another 10 years.

Beautiful pond reflection shot. The reflection below the pond leaves and the smoothness of the water makes this appear to be an indoor pond. Nice tones and focus. On the dark side, but I tend to like my photos that way as long as there is plenty of detail as there is here.

Love all the layers in this photo. My eye moves smoothly from level to level, but, interestingly, starting with the clouds and moving forward through each level to finally reach the water.
