Come On In, The Water Is FIneby JOHNBOY1970Comment by digitalknight: oversharpened - them ducks have halos
the top third of the photo isn't really doing your composition any favors
they are ducks - with all the ducks I've seen here - it has to be a REALLY spectacular photo of a duck to get a vote out of me

IMG_3701f_filtereddpc.jpgby JOHNBOY1970Comment by mk: I'd echo Trynity's comments here regarding the texture and also add that I think your vantage point might be a touch off in this. It's like you're shooting from below. I think had you brought the camera up level with the baby, it would have improved the composition and allowed more view of the baby and a bit less towel. |

Anoleby JOHNBOY1970Comment by TrynityRose: The colors and light seem really off on this. Almost like you did a curves adjustment to dull the highlights and it just flattened out the whole image. With everything in focus it makes the image seem very busy. You could get away with saying it's camoflage, but it just doesnt really work. It also looks very soft. The crop boxes him into the center of the image and makes it feel a little claustrophobic (sp?) too. |

Happy To See You!by JOHNBOY1970Comment by TrynityRose: Oh my! Is he really doing what I think he's doing? I guess no apple pie in the froggie world! I like the sharpness and the monochromatic feel of the shot. |

IMG_1903_filtered.jpgby JOHNBOY1970Comment by TrynityRose: The color looks a little dull on this to me (of course it could be my monitor). Cloning out the top branch and the few dust spots and trying a few different crops may help, maybe even rotating it to portrait. |

Jasperby JOHNBOY1970Comment by TrynityRose: Another adorable baby pic! As with the towels, I really like the mix of textures with the blanket and the skin. |
