Color of Snowby loriprophotoComment by CalliopeKel: Awesome action of the horse. Not real fond of the underbrush though, but these things cannot always be controlled, so in accepting the photo for what it is, it seems well exposed and focused. Lighting was decent as well. Good job. |

Color of Snowby loriprophotoComment by e301: There are two very strong horse portraits in this challenge, and I can't choose between them. This, as does this other, holds a great sense of the power of the animal, of the weight, and shape and strength of it. I like it for that - but i think your background and framing generally let the shot down otherwise: to do really well here you need to get away from that very cluttered scene. nevertheless, you've captured a lot more than a trite sunset, which makes this far more interesting than most shots. |

Color of Snowby loriprophotoComment by Jutilda: I love the tone on tone quality of this image. The horse is tack sharp and the stop motion is well done. All of the dry brush is a tad distracting, but given the situation, you did well with the landscape. I like that single twig in front of his hind quarters. I wish you could have panned back to create more of a sense of movement through the field. Just a thought. |

Color of Snowby loriprophotoComment by cheekymunky: I love this shot. As an aside I think if you photoshopped a horn on his head you'd have a brilliant unicorn/fantasy shot (good stock photo to!) |
