Hail the conquering hero!by DemonLlamaComment by hideout: 5.8 is a great average but I can't believe 83rd place, much too low for this wonderful image. I agree with pinapple, maybe a dark background might have helped the bokeh, but still you made a "point". Gave you a 10. |

Lookin' for a wee bit o' luck...by DemonLlamaComment by littlegett: This made me laugh at first look. could be a little bit of a double meaning here L()L. I think maybe a more washed out look on the model, so the 'clovers' would pop out more. Having even lighting across this image would also have helped it. |

A little buzz in the backgroundby DemonLlamaComment by Jason_Cross: I think the big bee is going to lay the smack down on the little bee. I like this because it would be a super tough capture. I am not totally sold on the crop of the flower, but I understand you were trying to preserve the size of the bee. |

I know you want us to look at the flying bee but from what I can tell it was just out of focus. The composition itself is good and the focus on the closer bee is good, but I just don't see it meeting the challenge. |
