Palo Shadowby AliciaComment by Melethia: I really do like shots like these that are just barely in color, but not by much. I agree with you that it works well this way, and despite being a very strong fan of B&W, I do like this one best in color. |

Cosima B&Wby AliciaComment by jaysonmc: I really like this shot. Shows an understanding of the importance of competing elements (light in this case). Great capture. |

Highriseby AliciaComment by Retroesque: Fabulous retro treatment for this retro building - the sharpening on the trees really does work in this instance. |

Highriseby AliciaComment by Jutilda: This has interesting line with the geometry of the building and the curve of the palms. It has a great POV and the tone levels are great. |

Highriseby AliciaComment by sevilduvarci: this is quite a dramatic looking building. has quite a character of its own i would say. nice composition with the palm trees around it. |

Cosima B&Wby AliciaComment by littlegett: This is a very fun image. I really enjoy the light and the bit of the cat laying in it. I am just wondering if the light just happened on the cat and it was just sleeping? or if it went to lay in the light and the light moved? Anyway, don't think I have anything to really say about this other then very nice job. |

Highriseby AliciaComment by roz: ahha !!! .. this certainly looks great in b&w ... the colour version taken from a different angle has other things to recommend it .. i like the line formed from the top of the palms to the one lower down in the image, it takes my eye right into the centre .. :) |
