The Victorby EquiessenceComment by missinseattle: A couple things here- not crazy about the thick border, really takes away from the subject. Then the tip of the flag or whatever it is hanging above his head along with the other thing sticking up behind his head, adds clutter to the picture. |

sorrowful springerby EquiessenceComment by glad2badad: The title matches the "expression" on the dogs face for sure. :D If you're going to enter a pet portrait in a portrait challenge (where most are expecting people shots) then it has to be an above average photo IMO. This is too grainy, soft, and flat (needs contrast) to hit the "wow, look at me" radar of the voters. Because of that, plus being a pet photo, you're most likely getting hammered a bit. All JMO of course. Good luck. |
