Not bad...but not great. I'm just not sure why I should like it.

This appears to be a snapshot of a key chain. While the subject on the keychain is iconic of motherhood to some populations, there are countless others that would disagree with your title. In the end it doesn't matter because the keychain is really the subject of this shot and a very boring subject at that. I don't care for this extremely narrow vertical crop.

This is a nice capture too. An adjustment in colors or tones may help make this even better in my opinion. The 'blue' is nice though, just needs a little something to help lift it.

Good capture.

temporary note and photo inclusion just so you can get an idea;

..

and a crop and resize..

done with ten second editing adjusting hue/sat/lightness/curves, whatever.. and then a sharpen

I am sure one of the 'gurus' can help you, but just a quick look to show you that if you experiment you should be able to do it yourself, especially with the manual tools to fix that 'darkness' or fore 'bokeh' on the right

Very interesting. Too bad the focus isn't on any of the leafs, it lies somewhere between the leafs...

Comment by Meridian Sage:
With your choice of backround color, bra color and the size of the pear, the pear appears dwarfed. Considering that the pear is part of your subject matter it should have more wieght in the photo don't you think. A smaller bra, a different backround, change just one element and I would have voted higher.

Comment by KiwiShotz:
I think you might have spoiled a really good pun and idea with the background. It seems to detract from the simplicity and impact of the elements.
