Great composure, the focus seems just a tad off unless you're using a soft focus filter or lens. I think some of the soft, dreamy effect would have been there with the wide aperture alone and been better with one sharp area of focus (the yellow flower for instance).

Compostion
- Good or Bad? How can it be fixed? Nice strong diagonal elements. Very simple composition. Not too much that can be said here. :)

Lighting
- Good use of light? Yes. Nice silhouette.

Aesthetics/Artistic Appeal:
- Colors and Contrast Good color choice and contrast with the silhouette. Maybe make the red a few shades lighter.
- Sharpness. Okay. Here's the that I don't like. The over-sharpening. You like the halo. I would like it better without.
- What is my reaction or feelings? It grabs your attention. I took a copy of this and twiddle with it in PS and I prefer it with the edges soft. It's too harsh.

very good as is but for me, would have a much larger impact, if you juxtaposed the smallness of the group of men against the vastness of the sea - move them to the corner and extend the top and right. I know - that's not the image I have in front of me but just a thought for a future image. good luck in the challenge!

Wonderful picture, love the softness of it. The yellow background works very well with the pink and purple but the yellow flower seems to blend too much, Nice focus.

i like the composition with the smaller building in the foreground. the zoom effect really works. the only drawback is the yellowish ground patch on the left is a little distracting.
