I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is ok, but expected for me. At such events, these types of snapshots are expected. Not something out of the ordinary, or a story told that one hasn't really seen or heard before from the shot. I prefer something a bit more out of the ordinary in a candid. Technically, there is little in focus here and the photo is rather small. It's a 2 for me.

You will propably get comments on the size of the image. Bit too small - use the 640 allowed. Nice shot - Not enough contrast. The blond is almost overshadowed by the brunette.

Nice eye contact. Slightly tighter crop would be better, removing cropped-in-half person on right, some of trees above. Bigger image would allow us to find more detail, please tutorialsee

This is slightly out of focus, and the fact that there are girls in costume behind the girl who is not in costume makes it look like this was taken a little too late or a little too early.

Small picture lacking its real chance for impact. You need to try maximising the size to create the impact.

I like this, as the lines have a feeling of movement, and it makes a very interesting abstract design.....

this would have been much better if you had cropped it before that gap in the metal

This might have been a very nice pic. A radical crop could have made it...
