The color and texture/noise provide a nice painterly feel. The lack of a central subject and a lack of contrast in the sky lesson the impact.

This looks like it would have been captured in autumn rather than springtime. How did you achieve that effect? It's impressively rendered.

I like how the bare tree toward the left gently becomes the focal point after the overall impression is made. It makes for a surprisingly engaging composition.
