The color gives in an antique feel. Very nice.

Comment by Corey:
I love this shot, wonderful concept, great detail, and the little bit of a yellow overcast seems to add age. The only thing that I think could have improved it would be if the coils were red hot, but that wouldn't have been good for your camera though. I love this shot.

Nice cropping and detail, the yellowish lighting bothers me for some reason.

i really like this photo, and the subject is great. however, i think you could have done more with this subject. the detail that his provides is nice, but i think a wider angle would have shown more of the coils and produced a better effect. the center piece of the coils has some interesting flavor to it, and i'm sorry to see it cropped out at the edge like that. overall, though, this is very nice. good job.

Nice detail, but then, I'm always a sucker for a macro shot.

I played around with this idea myself.. I turned the lights off in the kitchen and got the burner red hot and photographed it with a longer exposure.... My drip pan was clean and it was reflecting the red hot burner ;)
