Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
Interesting shot .. .not really what people would be looking for as a night shot ... I think that may be the issue with the scoring you reiceved.

Composition:
This is interesting to some and not others ... that could be the issue ..I think that it is a little small ... try to maximise your images to the maximum of 640 longest side .. to create a bigger impact.

Subject:
Just because it is take at night .. doesn't make a night shot .... yes it was taken at night .. and yes it met the challenge .. but the image doesn't tell me that ...

Technical (Colour and light):
Interesting shot ... colour is good .. appears to be a little oversharpened .. I can make out the face .. and its cropping appears to meet the rule of thirds.

To grow its vote?:
I don't know that this shots vote could be improved ... but I think that by taking a look at the other shots that have been taken and see what they did you will find other ways of interesting shots.

Summary:
Well done, interesting shot ... I like what you have been doing ... keep it up ..

The butterfly is nice and sharp, but the lenscap is supposed to be the subject. More DOF would improve that, or placing the lenscap much closer to the butterfly.

I like this idea but think it could be recomposed to make the lens cap the main point of interest. It should probably be in focus too.

cute photo! maybe a little less clutter and some more focus on the flowers could really help your photo, but good creativity, keep up the good work
