The look is definitely washed out, but I don't think it's worked perfectly. I read a good tutorial about achieving that sort of effect in photoshop, might be what you're looking for:

Sixties, right ... I think the colour film technology around that time (ask Bear_Music if it's at all interesting) was still working on getting strong reds. Old National Geographics reveal some. This photo works well - I wonder if you could have backed off the reds a little or shifted the hue towards the cooler end? Not for the overall effect, which is good now, but for experimental sixties authenticity...

Very nice image - I think I would have moved the flowers away from the face a little - I really enjoy the smooth pale quality of the skin and the flowers for me somehow disrupt this.

I like the DOF and of course the hand. If there were a tad bit more color on the top it would seem a bit more balanced, as it is my eye wants to linger on the bottom and not move up (that may be your intention also).
