This is one heck of an image. I say chuck away all those tinsel town glamour shots. And sink your eyeballs into something with real merit like this fabulous work. I am in quivering rapture from the feel of those brooding clouds, the stark two tone lighthouse, the brilliant juxtaposition of grasses and sky tones and the emphatic border. Beautiful is a sheer undestatement here. You must recieve many more compliments upon this image. It is a work of art. I am going to give you a 10 to make up for those other fools who absently knee jerk a 5 score. OK you got me grovelling for more gorgeous B&W in future challenges. I won\'t settle for anything less. It is uncanny how similar this shot looks to //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=10012 that shot from the body parts challenge. It doesn't really look like the same kid, but I'm wondering. The one from the body part challenge looks like he's got a freckle by his mouth, and this one doesn't, or it's hidden in the shadow. I'm curious to know if they are the same, or long lost twins. About the shot. Nice job! The background isn't distracting, the angle and framing/cropping is great, and the focus and clarity are just awesome. Really excelent shot. Good luck in the challenge.

Interesting angle. Not sure how I feel about the photo being split in half. For some reason it feels slightly underexposed.

Nice profile shot, I think I have seen this or a similar shot done in a few past challanges with different back grounds, maybe we all here at DPChallenge just have cute kids!
