If this shot was really sharp, it would be stronger. I wonder if you used a tripod? Even if you did, that's a looong exposure :).

Another way to improve might be to use more contrast. As it is it's sort of gray, with the one color present adding to the low temperature feel. Use your curves or levels tool to play with this.

The title, while clever, doesn't imho fit the shot :). So I'm choosing to just look at the image as if it was untitled.

The tilt has been remarked upon, yet your H sign is level, so that's good. That's prolly all a function of e-20 lens distortion at wide angle. I might have had the H sign leaning in.

I absolutely love this composition and the vivid colors as well, but I find the lighting a bit harsh and the border too thick to the point that it crowds the picture. I initially rated it a 10, but later knocked it down to 8 because of those reasons.

I also did a \"square meal\" picture this week. I really like the colors you have used and the symmetry. I especially like what you did with the oranges! I wish you had left a little more room in your picture to capture the sides of your plates. Good luck.

Whoa! What a huge effort to plan and execute this dazzling masterpiece. You better be a top 3 winner for that alone. Technique is impeccable ( focus, composition, DOF, color rendition, lighting angle, etc). Personally I would like a little more silver feel to the cutlery. Some folks might like plain placemats as opposed to the razzle dazzle color. Just two minor quibbles easily ignored. Good luck on racking up the big score.

Makes me hungry! I don't like the shadow on the utensils too much but it's hard to illuminate shiny items as they tend to reflect.
