Very soft focus. I can't find a center of focus to make the image capture my attention. A better title would of helped since this is a photojournalism challenge. I wish you the best in the challenge.

Great eyes. IMO, reducing the DOF would lessen the background distractions. In reviewing my ratings, I had to bump this up. I think it is they eyes.

Hmmm, this one just doesn't do it for me as a great shot or journalistic.

To me, it lacks focus and seems noisy. Maybe the soft focus was on purpose, but if so, I'd want to see it softer. It either would need to be very in focus or more out of focus to be more interesting. As it is, it is between the 2. It could be cropped tighter too as the bottom part seems irrelevant.

Those things would maybe make it a better photo, but I still think it would lack any journalistic qualities.
