It's a lovely shot.. try doing one with the subject off center..
have him sit on the left or right of the swing and look away.. .
You might have a really good shot there..

This is the best of the three for me. I think when a photo envokes a mood you've made a success and this one really hits that soft early morning feeling for me.

I think the lighting is awesome. The only nitpick I have is that her foot is cropped or not in the original frame. My first reaction was that the frame should have been lower but I think you would have lost the lovely highlights at the top.
