His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment by dsidwell: Okay, this is the 10th time I've visited this image and I finally got it. ANd I like the idea, too. If you had used nails or spikes other than railroad spikes, it might be clearer. And a bit higher perspective would accentuate the image of the cross, though I do like a lowish angle. Keep tweeking and it will come. |

His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment by Swashbuckler: Focus seems very sharp, cropping - cutting off part of the subject is probably not a good thing, esp. with all the open space at the other end. Being a non-christian person, this image does not offer me any dispair type feelings, but I would think this more lends itself to hope than dispair. 4 Swash |

His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment by karmat: Awesome! Message and picture. I think compositionally, it may have been a little stronger if the entire bottom nail was in the frame, OR if it was diagonal through the frame. Great work though. |

His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment by ChrisW123: Is that a "War Hammer"? Pretty good.. I don't like these really long and skinny images however. You should have put a small puddle of blood below the hammer and turned the hammer around so the blunt end is toward the camera. |
