Perhaps if the background were more white this image would have more impact. I'm not getting the 'Magic' or 'Mystery' connection. What is this object? Looks like a letter opener? Is there some meaning to the title that I'm missing that tells the viewer what this image is about. Sorry, not trying to be rude, just really don't get the approach taken here...

Among the better attempts at photographing "trinkets". I generally don't like those shots, but this has some interest. I forget my physics, but if you could have had a sharper shadow, I think it would have added. 6
