An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

This is a lovely mono nude made sensual by the lovely lighting. The dark shadows are for me what really gives the shape of your body its sensual appeal, lovely. But, you’ll have to count me in on the oil filter haters, like one of your commenters, initially I thought it was jpeg artefacts, it really detracts from an otherwise beautiful study. I’m sure you would have finished much higher without it, other than that a really lovely study well executed Susanâ€Â¦

Probably would have done better without the oil paint filter. It looks like jpg anomalies on my monitor. I only voted on about 25% of the entries and got interrupted, so I missed this one. Without the paint filter, I'd probably have given it a 7 or 8.

I hammered you pretty good with a 4 on the first round of voting, because those processing swirls basically ruin, or at least tarnish, an otherwise fine B/W nude. On reflection, that's a bit harsh, so I am bumping to 6. Without the swirls, it'd be on the borderline between 7-8 for me...

In spite of the lofty title, the image has some humor with the shadows making a Halloween ghosty face. I would score it higher but the contrast and shadows at the raised arms are quite unappealing
