14 years and counting since I fell down the rabbit hole, clutching a 2.01 mp Samsung Digimax and entering every challenge I could! Things sure have changed.
Past member of Team Suck and recently, past Queen of the Critique Club with over 700 critiques under my belt. Thoughtful, constructive critiques helped me improve my photography tremendously, and I try to help those that request critiques in the same way.
February 16 2010: Won my first blue ribbon with Plane of Perspective for Perspective VI with a score just under 7 :-)
November 14, 2011: Finally broke 7 with Frosted fall, making it my new PB and also giving me my first Honourable Mention.
December 2 2011: Won my first red ribbon with Pauper's feast for Feast II...again, with a score just under 7 :-)
February 6, 2014: Finally broke the 7.000 curse with a red ribbon for The Day Heavy Shot Kicked The Sky...and in Best of 2013 no less!!
July 21 2017: At long, long last, a ribbon in an Expert Extended Editing challenge with The fate of the Nosy Neighbour for Comic Book Page. Woohoo!
DPCers I have had the privilege to meet and shoot with:  RayEthier, who introduced me to the site;  Shudderbug,  shaman, ralph, BeeCee, Becky-Lee, [user]Morgan[/user], Leenie, smjbmw, tosk, Quigley, and of course Magnumphotography. Had the pleasure of meeting  frisca in BC this past visit :-) and more recently, with *Unca Raymee* at Upper Canada Village, Enlightened and MichaelC and his lovely wife DebC.
Late 2014...finally met and actually stayed with  Bear_Music and  PennyClick in their mansion on Outer Cape Cod! Definitely recommend it to all DPCers :-)
DPCers I've traded various goodies for for some Chateau Snaffles sirop d'erable: JulietNN, Kelli, littlemav, Melethia, Cory, sfalice, Bear_Music, frisca, Spork99 and LN13. Thanks all in return for the fantastic nummies from your part of the States!
