 Ahhh...Heavy Shot....I love you!!! This wonderful little bareback bronc gives me spectacular shots each time out and this one was no exception. Forget the cowboy's name, but I'll never forget my tough little *Grit* :-)

I enter this image not just for its dynamic quality, but for the pairing of lens and camera that allowed me to capture so many great images: the D90 and the 18-200mm.

The D90 is now gone, and my warhorse lens with which I have sho everything - the 18-200mm, which shot this after having been crippled in the polo ball incident (and forever had its AF compromised), is now a pensioner. Seeing that I could count on every 4th-5th image shot at high-speed being oof due to the damage, I could only cross my fingers and pray that I got the shot. Thank you, Warhorse.

WOW!!!! So thrilled, it's been ages since I've ribboned, and there is no other shot that I would want to ribbon with. All night long I've been singing 'Go Heavy Shot Go!' and it seems to have worked!

As an aside for those into birthdates at all (I'm not really, but...) I am a Sagittarian, born November 27 in 1966 which in the Chinese calendar is the Year of the Horse. Now it is once again the Year of the Horse.

So maybe it's fitting that I've a)FINALLY cracked the 7.000 curse and of course b) have a new PB, and c) a shiny new red ribbon and d) a place in the posthumous Fantasy Art Gallery...all without sacrificing my principles. What might happen next?

A marvellous capture. The stop motion is wonderful. However, the hat, the support rider, the guys on the gate and even the umbrellas ads so much to this image. Especially how they are overexposed.
