An appealing image that fully meets the challenge

Congratulations Susan, a great score and placing for a great image, thoroughly deserved. The implied lines are abundant in the lines of the trees themselves and in their shadows so suitably contrasted against the white snowy ground. This is a very strong composition that makes full use of the implied lines perspective. It all works in a strong effective way, I wouldn’t change a thing, well done.

An appealing image the meets the challenge well

A lovely find for the subject Susan. The natural heart shape fits the challenge brief perfectly. The lighting is good bringing out the delicate details well. I like the diagonal of the heart that you have chosen for your composition. There is a little background distraction but it is not significant enough to adversely affect the end result. I hope your own romance is still thriving?
